Here is a selection of my work experience:
Database:
- Database management (thesauri, taxonomies, metadata, controlled vocabularies).
- Organising collections of information – hard copy or digital (eg, bibliographic information, legal deeds database).
- Knowledge Base FAQ (frequently asked question) development and maintenance using a CRM system.
- Organised the digitisation of a collection of technical and other publications.
Library:
- Experience managing all aspects of a special library.
- Cataloguing and indexing.
- “What’s new in the library” alerting service eg, Career Information News July 2010 PDF.
- Literature searching and research.
- Appreciation of copyright and privacy.
- Service level agreements.
