Here is a selection of my work experience:

Database:

  • Database management (thesauri, taxonomies, metadata, controlled vocabularies).
  • Organising collections of information – hard copy or digital (eg, bibliographic information, legal deeds database).
  • Knowledge Base FAQ (frequently asked question) development and maintenance using a CRM system.
  • Organised the digitisation of a collection of technical and other publications.

Library:

  • Experience managing all aspects of a special library.
  • Cataloguing and indexing.
  • “What’s new in the library” alerting service eg,  Career Information News July 2010 PDF.
  • Literature searching and research.
  • Appreciation of copyright and privacy.
  • Service level agreements.
